Would you like to visit an ancient silver mining town? To escape the crowds in Prague and enjoy a beauty of a small Czech town with a big history? This is the tour for you! During this tour you will visit an Ossuary (church interior fully decorated with human bones), unique gothic St Barbora´s Cathedral (one of the best examples of gothic architecture in Bohemia) and Italian Court, temporary seat of the Czech kings.

Kutná Hora is situated cca 75 km east of Prague. This medival town is part of UNESCO cultural and natural heritage. In the 13th century silver was discovered here and the royal mint was established. The Prague Groschen, a coin that circulated all over Europe, was produced here. Historically, Kutná Hora was the second most important town after Prague in the Kingdom of Bohemia.

The journey to Kutná Hora lasts a little more than 1 hour. During this time you can enjoy the beautiful landscape of East Bohemia. Your guide will give you some information on Kutná Hora and the history of our country. Once there, you will first visit a very extraordinary place - an Ossuary - a church, whose interior is fully decorated by human bones. Then you will go to the historical centre of the town. In the town you will visit the interior of St. Barbora´s Cathedral, a unique gothic masterpiece. Then you will walk through the historical centre and enjoy lunch or coffee in one of the local restaurants.

The tour ends in your hotel or center of Prague if you prefer.
