Town of Karlovy Vary is situated 140 km west of Prague. It was founded by Czech king and Holy Roman emperor Charles IV in 1358, and it is known for its mineral springs springing curative water, beautiful colonnades, Moser glass and Thun porcelaine, Becherovka liqueur made of herbs and delicious local wafers. There are 12 mineral springs there and you will have the chance to taste them. The most famous is Vřídlo, which is the hottest - 72ºC and the highest – 17 metres. During the International film festival, one of the oldest in the world, Karlovy Vary is visited by famous actors and other celebrities. We can name some of the most famous - Gregory Peck, Alan Alda, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert de Niro, Michael Douglas, Sharon Stone, Rene Zellweger, Miloš Forman and others. The last Bond movie Casino Royal with Daniel Craig was filmed here. You shouldn´t miss it! 

The journey to Karlovy Vary lasts about 2 hours. During the way your guide will explain the history of Karlovy Vary and Czech Republic while you drive through the beautiful scenery of the western part of Bohemia. Then you will enjoy your day in Karlovy Vary. The tour ends in the evening in your hotel or in the center of Prague if you prefer.
