Prague Walking Tour

'We've just come back from our first visit to Prague. On day 1 we booked a tour with the lovely Michaela and had the best possible personal introduction to this beautiful old city. We took a tram to the castle, then walked back through the city, visiting Castle Town, Jewish Town, Lesser Town, Old Town and finally New Town. Michaela taught us so much at every turn, making everything so alive, interesting and often very funny. There were just two of us with her - so, fantastic value for money - and she gave us a much clearer understanding of the history, buildings, architecture and art. She pointed out places to return to and look at in more detail later, places to eat, and explained traditions and stories connected with many landmarks and people. She was happy to answer questions with impressive knowledge on anything we wanted to know and by the end of the tour we felt we'd really made contact with a delightful person. I would absolutely recommend this very personal and friendly introduction to Prague for first-time visitors like ourselves, and will definitely ask for her again on our next visit. There's still so much to know! If the rating scale wasn't 1-6 but 1-20, we'd rate her 20.

'Loved the tour!' Today I showed beautiful Prague to David Gainsborough Roberts. Roberts is a retired investment banker from Jersey, most well-known for his collection of Marilyn Monroe memorabilia that he borrowed for the Exposition Marilyn Riding School of the Prague castle starting tomorrow 29th May. We had a great time!

Family re-encounter in Czech Republic

'We recently returned from a ten day trip to the beautiful city of Praha, Czech Republic. Our trip was perfect in every way, and this was due in large part to Perfect Prague Tours' General Manager Michaela Jiroutova. Michaela is very professional, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. I was born in Praha and came to America when I was a year old and never returned. Now at 66, we emailed her and asked if she could arrange a visit with my family if she could locate them. Based on very limited information from a 25 year old letter, she was able to contact a cousin. Together, they arranged two visits with my family. Michaela did all the arrangements and was with us for transportation and translations, indeed her warm and open personality seemed to make her part of the family. There is no describing the feelings of reuniting with family. Michaela and her driver made such a special reunion for us, I couldn't think of anyone nicer to represent us. If you are looking for lost family, loved ones, or an individualized tour, we highly recommend Michaela's unique and specialized service. We took three additional tours listed on the Perfect Prague Tours site, and spent another afternoon with Michaela for a museum exhibit and dinner. All arrangements were made and we were greeted at the gate to our apartment for such pleasant adventures. The time spent with Michaela was more than touring, we were introduced to each area of interest as something very special. She has an undisguised pride in her wonderful country and an eagerness to introduce its treasures.

Michaela’s English was fantastic, as was her patience with many of my questions, which were varied given my lack of knowledge. Her depth of history, local knowledge and passion made the trip a real delight. She was also attentive to the needs of the group as a whole and spent a great deal of time focusing on the history of key events not just to the Czech Republic, but for those of us old enough to remember the former Warsaw Pact and broader situation of the time. I also appreciated her local knowledge of restaurants and bars, as on Friday night I took a friend of mine Matilda to dinner at Noi, a lovely Thai restaurant not far from the castle that Michaela recommended. So impressed was I that I did another two tours with your company, one of Karlovy Vary and a river cruise; both very pleasant. Again thank you for making my experience in Prague so pleasurable. Prague Folklore Tour Show

I had a great night at the Folklor Show. The drinks (wine, beer, non-alcoholic choices) are non-stop. The food was plentiful and delicious; atmosphere very friendly. The guests are grouped by country of origin so you will find much to discuss with your table-mates. During the dancing, I joined an "odd-man out" dance: 4 men, 3 women and a broom--yes, you guessed it. Odd man gets the broom--but not for long--the music starts and when it stops, abandon the broom and get a girl as all must switch partners! It was all great fun. I highly recommend it.

Yes! Perfect Prague Nights Tours was a great experience! I personally wanted a night out to hang out as a local Czech. Michaela took me to a private club that was magnificent! A small intimate club with a movie on the wall. Great conversation of life as a Czech, freedom, and history.I highly recommend this experience with Perfect Prague Tours!

Prague walking tour

Blue Harbor Tour

A beautiful 45 minute drive outside of Prague brought us to Blue Harbor. A quaint harbor on the a clear blue lake. The water so clear and clean. After the invigorating swim out in the late, we relaxed on the lake shore. A little while of sun bathing and throwing the frisbee around and we were ready to go for a speed boat ride up the lake. The lake is so beautiful. The resorts and homes on the banks, the churches and towns and majestic cliffs. All make for a wonderful day in the Bohemian country side. Michaela- It is with great appreciation and gratitude I write to you. You and the PerfectPragueTour team made my trip to Prague, a treasured memory. You were so easy to work with to accommodate my personal agenda. The creativity you used to plan my trip far exceeded anything I could have expected. All the time, you and your team's number one concern was my enjoyment and getting as much out the time they spent with me as possible. The day in Blue Harbor was so beautiful and worry free, just what I needed. Vojta was such an enjoyable driver and a wonderful man. He is very genuine and caring. Please express my gratitude to Vojta and to Veronika for her extensive knowledge of Prague and taking me to the best places only the locals know. The best thing you provided me was the ability to get around Prague with confidence and easy. Prague Walking Tour

Prague Private Tour - June 2011 Being in Czech Republic for a business trip i had ONLY one day to see Prague. PerfectPragueTour have been the perfect choice for this task. A private guide gives you a greater efficiency and the best feelings from the city. Michaela have been amazing. Two hours of Segway tour helped me to see what you can enjoy in a full afternoon. Castle visit, Charles bridge and the amazing story of this city perfectly explained in details, great dinner and a beautiful nightlife experience sipping a beer under a tree on Kampa island. If you have time constraints or if you really want a custom tailored tour there is no better company than this one. Five stars. Maybe six.

Prague Segway Tour

Anyone ever make the climb to Prague Castle and then the "replica" of the Eiffel Tower on a nearby hill? I have done it several times but yesterday was the easiest ever. Just use a Segway! What a way to tour. I highly recommend it especially if you are led by the best guide in Prague, Michaela Jiroutova. This idea of a private guide is really a winner--no umbrella to follow and your guide will take you where you want to go!

I had scheduled a week in Prague for myself while vacationing through Europe. Aside from a full day of skydiving, I was lacking any more activities aside from the typical “tourist traps” of Prague. Fortunately for me I came across PerfectPragueTour.com and contacted Michaela. Weeks in advance from my arrival into Prague she was very helpful in suggesting activities during my stay. The tour Michaela created for me was a private walking City Tour with the beautiful Barbora Kusinova. As a guide Barbora was very friendly and knowledgeable with the city. She introduced me authentic Bohemian foods as well as showing me the usual highlights of the city. The walking tour moved at a very casual pace allowing for coffee breaks or photo opportunities whenever I wanted. I was so impressed with my tour I contacted Michaela again to ask if she could arrange more. Over the course of a week Michaela was able to set me up with the City Bus Tour, Castle Tour, Segway Tour, and Nightlife Tour. I highly recommend contacting Michaela for the Segway and Nightlife tour. She is well connected and her staff of guides is top-notch.
