Segway Sightseeing Tour 3 - Duration: 120 min

Our tour starts in the Old Town in Curiových Square (Pařížská Street) at the Intercontinental Hotel. From here you will ride to Dvořák and Mánes river bank from where you will have a wonderful view of Prague Castle, Government building, Charles Bridge and other highlights of Prague. Passing Rudolphinum - House of Artists you will go on Mánes Bridge, crossing the river to Lesser Town. Lesser Town is the most romantic part of Prague. Here you can admire beautiful baroque - style gardens, parks and palaces. Passing through Valdstejn street you will appreciate the beauty of the Valdstejn palace, the biggest palace in our country and a seat of the Czech Senate. From here you will ride through Nerudova Street, another magnificat place, up the hill to the Prague Castle. In Nerurova Street you will pass charming old houses and the House at the two Suns, where Jan Neruda – a famous Czech writer used to live. On your left hand side you will see Petřín Hill with Petřín Look-out Tower, a copy of the famous Eiffel Tower, and a Strahov Monastery from the 12th century. Arriving to Castle Town Square you will have the most wonderful view of Prague. You will be in front of the Prague Castle, the most dominant architecture in the whole city of Prague, and the biggest castle in the world, which is also the seat of the Czech presidents. In the Castle Town Square you will see many beautiful historic buildings such as; Schwarzenberg Palace, Arcibischop Palace and Toscan Palace. From here you will ride to Loreta Square where you will see the pilgrimage plaza of Loreta consisting of a cloister, church of the Lord´s Birth, Holy Hut and a Clock tower where each hour you can hear 27 bells ringing. Another interesting building on the square is a Černín Palace, seat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From Loreta Square you will go on to Strahov Monastery and then up to Petřín Hill where you will see Petřín Observation Tower, the Maze – a mirror labyrinth, and have a stunning view of Prague, the city of a hundred spires. From here you will return back to the Intercontinental Hotel.

Prague has always been a city ideal for filmmaking. Many movies have been shot in Prague,including Amadeus directed by Miloš Forman, Kafka, Kolya , Mission Impossible, From Hell, The Bourne Identity , XXX, Blade II, Bad company, Hart´s war, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, The Prince and Me, Van Helsing, The Illusionist and Casino Royal. Your guide will pick you up in your hotel or meet you at the Charles Bridge where your tour starts. He/ she will teach you to ride a segway in approx. 10 minutes and you will be on your way. During this tour your enthusiastic Segway guide will show you places where the most famous movies were shot, you will watch the famous scenes on a DVD portable screen and your guide will give you inside information about Prague and your favourite movies.
